Challenge – BSK Architects are well-known for their innovative approach and solid structural knowledge. Their aim is to create physical spaces that are personal, and at the same time tells brand-building stories. Our challenge was to create a new visual identity to work together with the fantastic artworks and drawings, that architects do daily.
Approach – How to build a visual landscape that does not conflict with the strong drawings, artworks and visuals of the actual objects the architects daily are working on? We used a minimalistic approach with a few solid identity carriers, to support the architect’s own information and visuals in a good way. So that the identity can handle both informative and communicative challenges over time.
Solution – The objective was to create a design system that was easy to use and with a few elements so the projects speak for themselves with strong imagery. We also added a communicative graphic element sprung from the objects and drawings, that can be used as an icon or in a more communicative way to reach out to the audience, and strengthen BSK A´s brand recognition. The graphic elements are made of the shapes of the drawings of each project. This minimalistic approach we think generates brand conditions fit for future challenges.
